I do not seek my own glory; there is one who seeks it and he is the one who judges.

Dico vobis, sed si poenitentiam non egeritis, omnes similiter peribitis.
I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!
Powiadam wam; lecz jeśli się nie nawrócicie, wszyscy tak samo zginiecie.

Ieremias 10,23-24
Scio, Domine, quia non est hominis via eius,
nec viri est, ut ambulet et dirigat gressus suos.
Corripe me, Domine, verumtamen in iudicio et non in furore tuo,
ne forte ad nihilum redigas me.
You know, O Lord, that man is not master of his way;
Man’s course is not within his choice, nor is it for him to direct his step.
Punish us, O Lord, but with equity, not in anger,
lest you have us dwindle away.
Wiem, Panie, że nie człowiek wyznacza swą drogę,
i nie w jego mocy leży kierować swoimi krokami, gdy idzie.
Ukarz mnie, Panie, lecz według słusznej miary, nie według swego gniewu,
byś mnie zbyt nie umniejszył.
